Full Job Description

We are growing and looking for a highly motivated General Manager / General Sales Manager to lead our team.

We are looking for someone who is customer focused, a team player, hands-on, has a strong work ethic and superior leadership skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the recruiting and hiring process for all positions; ensure performance reviews or coaching sessions are completed as scheduled; development of short- and long-term goals for each department manager.
  • Directs and monitors all dealership management or supervisory personnel functions and completes formal performance evaluations of all department managers at regularly scheduled intervals.
  • Coach Sales Managers and Associates on our process for closing more deals and provide advice and guidance to improve sales performance
  • Set sales goals, track progress, and lead team to achieve and exceed those quotas
  • Manage a CRM platform to retain customers and seek out new prospective sales
  • Maintain a strong focus on satisfaction of all employees and customers
  • Execution / Implementation of procedures. Deliver Results! Follow through!
  • Oversee all activities occurring in the vehicle showroom and Service.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a SM/GSM plus 2 years as a GM at a franchise dealership
  • Complete understanding of how to desk car deals
  • Solid sales competencies with knowledge of strategies and best practices
  • Excellent leadership skills with a passion for developing employees
  • Must have strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to read and understand F&I statements, and financial statements.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to solving problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outgoing, and positive attitude
  • Knowledge of inventory control and management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $400,000.00 - $650,000.00 per year
